The Story
Jose Rizal. The author, national hero of the Philippines, was born in Calamba, Laguna in 1861. He received his education from his mother, private teachers, the Ateneo Municipal de Manila, where he received a bachelor's degree. and the University of Sto. Tomas. In 1882 he left for Europe, and there obtained a licentiate in medicine in 1884 and in philosophy and letters in 1885. In 1887, in Berlin, he finished Noli Me Tangere, his first novel, and in 1891, in Biarritz, France, his second novel El Filibusterismo, both written in Spanish.
Among many other works in prose and poetry, the most notable are the essays written for La Solidaridad titles "Sobre la indolencia de los Filipinos","Filipinas dentro de cien anos", and "Sa mga Kababaihang Dalaga ng Malolos"; and the poems "Me piden versos", "A las flores de Heidelberg', and "Mi ultimo adios", written on the eve of his execution- by musketry on December 30, 1896.

You can only return to us products which have been purchased directly through this website. If you
purchased your products at our boutique, other retail store, or from another website, returns must be
processed at the store in which they were purchased.

Returns Procedure
In returning products, please follow the guidelines below. We reserve the right to reject any product
returns if the following guidelines are not met:
Products can only be returned within 14 days of receipt.
Keep the original packaging. Please reuse the packaging your order was shipped in to proceed with the return.
Please return your articles in mint condition, without them being worn or washed.
All the packaging (plastic, boxes), accessories (glasses case), user manual must be returned and product labels must be attached to the items as sold including the original receipt.
Please contact our customer service by email: shop@ayalamuseum.org to declare the items you wish to
return. We will send you a return form for you to fill up and send back to us to process your return request.
Refund
In cases of refund, your refund will be processed and paid no later than thirty (30) days after we receive
the returned products from you. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the products
back from you, or you have supplied evidence that you have sent the goods back (whichever is the
earliest).
